How To Stand Out From The Crowd- Excellence!

Excellence is the possession of good quality in an unusual degree. As God’s ambassadors, we must represent him accurately. Excellence is doing things right. But before we consider how to do it right, lets ensure we are doing the right thing. Excellence in the wrong thing still spells failure. DEFINE YOUR ASSIGNMENT You cannot just be efficient for efficiency’s sake. We must also be effective. Efficiency is doing things right. Effectiveness is doing the right things. Defining your assignment is the starting point for you to achieve excellence. State clearly your vision in life or the vision of your organization. This defines the limit of the areas in which to achieve excellence as a person or organization. DEAL WITH OLD MINDSETS Some people say that you have to choose between quality and quantity. This is not true because the more quality you have, the more quantity you attract. The more you do things better, the more you will be patronized. There is another myth th

5 Characteristics That Will Make You an Unstoppable Force

“Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. Weak men create hard times.” This was first mentioned by Plato in Republic and has been a truth ever since. But there is a way you can break this never-ending circle and it begins and ends with personal responsibility and growth. When people break this cycle, they displayed the following 5 characteristics that made them unstoppable : 1 .  Become a leader of men Easier said than done. To become a leader of men, you need to have a strong conviction for a future you desire. Men follow strong men, not weak-minded people who are not sure about the things they speak about. When you believe in your words and actions and display that characteristic unapologetically, others will see you as a confident person. You will show them that you can and will lead them into a bright future, elevating and pushing them to a higher standard. A leader of men makes things happen and there are no obstacles on

Arch Bishop Benson A. Idahosa. (A God's General The World Wil Never Forget.)

Nigeria is the home of several notable men of God, but I do believe that none has made such an international impact as the late Benson Andrew Idahosa affectionately called PAPA or BA by his followers. Idahosa was a Charismatic Pentecostal preacher, and founder of the Church of God Mission International with headquarters in Benin City, Nigeria. He was the first Pentecostal Archbishop in Nigeria, and is often referred to as the father of Pentecostalism and televangelism in Nigeria. Benson Andrew Idahosa was born in Edo State on September 11, 1938 of poor non-Christian parents in a predominantly non-Christian

How Will You Be Remembered?

Imagine yourself coming into a church. You are walking down the aisle and to your left and right are people with grief written all over their faces. You can feel the sense of loss in the atmosphere. It’s a funeral service. And it’s just about to begin. You walk to the casket and you come face to face with yourself. Really, it’s your funeral service forty, fifty or sixty years from now. And the people there are loved ones who have come to honour you and show appreciation to God for your life. You take a seat and look through the program in your hand. Four people will speak about you; your colleague at work, your pastor, your child and your spouse. The question is, what will they say about you? Or what would you want them to say about you? What difference would you have made in their lives. Think deeply about this. The answer to those questions will define the direction in which your life should go right now. It will clarify your values. It will re-organize your priorities. Some

A Perfect Love for Imperfect People

God’s love is amazing. But there have been times when I’ve doubted how much God really loves me. I’ve looked at all my imperfections and shortcomings and thought that perhaps I’ve someone managed to fall out of His love. I’ve peered back at my past, or even my present, and began to believe the lie that God didn’t really love me as much as He said He did. If you have ever felt like this, let me remind you how much God loves you. No matter what you have done or who you have become, God still loves you. My wife and I recently had our first child, and the moment she arrived I had a sudden revelation about a father’s love. The second I looked down at my newborn child, I knew that I loved her. I understood that taking care of her would take work, I knew that there would be times when she would disobey or get into trouble, and I knew that I could never expect her to be perfect. But this didn’t matter because I loved her the moment I saw her. I may think that my love for my daughter is
