In today’s article, I will be sharing with you some key revelations I discovered from the book of Genesis 1:26. “Then God said, Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over all the earth”. When God made you and me in his likeness, he did not make us to look like him, he made you to function like him. That is what “Likeness ” means. When God created you, he made you to operate and function like him in other words, if you are not functioning like God, then you are “Malfunctioning” because God has wired you to do so.

Would they be useful questions to ask ourselves every day?When  planning each day ,  he considered "Prosecute the present study" which means to invest time for education, study or some form of self-improvement . If such a great man as Benjamin Franklin included this on his daily schedule, do you think it would benefit each of us?

Smedes Most of us carry around anger, resentment, jealousy , or some other negative emotion directed to others.  Some of these have been around for years or are directed towards someone no longer in your life.  All those negative emotions hang around your neck and weigh you down.  Unless dealt with, they will eventually start to broadly affect the quality of your life and that of those around you.  Love, Compassion and the rest of the higher vibrational emotions are constrained by the baser ones.  We cannot fly if we are chained down. "When you hold resentment toward another, you are bound to that person or condition by an emotional link that is stronger than steel. Forgiveness is the only way to dissolve that link and get free."

There are many people who are being passed by because others don't see what is in them. But God has shown me what's in me, and I know it is in you too. My job is to stop you and say: "Can you see what's in you? Do you know your potential? Do you know that you are not just someone born in a ghetto over the hill? There's a wealth of potential in you." A sculptor sees so differently. They say Michelangelo used to walk around a block of marble for days, just walking around it, talking to himself. First he would see things in the rock; then he would go and take them out.

The journey of life is amazing. The one who gets success is always praised by saying that he is lucky and the one who faces failures in life and is disappointed is considered to be unlucky in life. This is all we can know about both. But do you ever wonder the reason why that successful person reached the top of the ladder of success and why the other one is still disappointed because of failure and always remains to be. The reason behind both of them is a single world “DESIRE“.

Why is this problem so universal? The fact that the devaluing of women is so widespread across the globe points to a cause that goes much deeper than mere culture or tradition.

  Imagine that you are watching a television show similar to To Tell the Truth. Several contestants try to convince you that they are the Real Man.  You have to guess which one is authentic and which ones are the imposters. Contestant #1 tell you he is the Real Man because he fills the traditional male role: he supports his family financially while his wife cares for the children and the home. As long as he provides a roof over their heads and food for them to eat, he's fulfilling his duty as a husband and father. This man doesn't consider his wife to be his true equal. Contestant #2 says he is the Real Man because he has a culturally progressive role: he shares household and child-rearing responsibilities with his wife while they both pursue careers. He thinks of his wife as his equal.

Many men are still wondering why they exist. Yet the Creator of man did not leave us guessing about who the male is supposed to be and what he is designed to do. What we will be looking at is the male's ideal purpose. This is not where we are right now. Yet God's ideal is what we should be moving toward; and by his grace, we will.
